Today I went to school and made a fruit basket but it’s not done. We made the fruit and colored them. We had to color are paper and made our fruit bowl. I came home from school and put a puzzle together then the cat got in, then Grandma called. She said put the cat out and read a book. Mom came home the Grandpa and Ken and Carl came home. We worked in the basement from 3:30-6:30 or 7:00 then I got ready for bed, vacuumed, listened to a story and wrote this journal. Goodnight.

Sunday night Dave came upstairs about 9:00 to go to the bathroom. He said he couldn’t sleep.

{Mom said} “You know what I do when I can’t sleep? I make up my dreams and tell them over and over ’till I fall asleep.”

{Dave said} “Where should I start …[sic] Why did you choose the first? The middle part is best. …[sic] I changed my mind the last part is the best but you won’t like it.”

Dave named a girl in his class and reminded me of the {church} president who said you should be married when you were 25. {Dave} “Well, she and I had to just sit there and be friends forever” {Mom} “Why?” {Dave} “Because we weren’t 25. We were 35 – that’s too old to get married.”

Written by Mom. It doesn’t have a specific date and it starts on the next page from the 11/15/83 entry that I dictated so I’m not completely certain that it is referring to 11/13/83 when it says “Sunday night”
