August 21, 1985

We spent 8 weeks from June 17 to August 12 in Albuquerque. When I got home I was glad to see Fez was okay. (Feziwig was our pet cat.) She wasn’t sad anymore. I wasn’t bored anymore. I didn’t forget how to ride my bike. I was glad Fez was there waiting for me. Grandma took pictures of me and the cat. Oh ya, that was fun.

I was glad to have breakfast fixed for me – not cold cereal. I was glad to have my bed back and to rind I had a new bedspread. I was glad to see my clock and the new TV. I was looking forward to going on the covered wagon trip, like pioneers. I liked finding the new carpet in my bedroom and the candy bar Carl said Mom would have for us. The carpet is my favorite kind. It’s brown and thick and just like a bed. I clean my room every day now.

Last might Mom read us a story, we had prayer and I went to bed. Mom came and asked if I wanted to read in bed or have a night up. I chose a night up. We worked on my new bedspread, had a bowl of ice cream and went to Aunt Janice’s to help with Chris. I played a game of input with Jeff and I lost. When we got home I went to bed at 10:05. It was a fun night up. I like to be with my mom.
