Three weeks ago I sang a solo for the stake. I was embarrassed the way I was dressed. I was dressed like an Indian. I wore David’s headdress. (David Newman perhaps?)

I’m pretty sure I have the mystery of this entry solved. It appears that Mom placed a page from Ken’s journal in my journal. The handwriting on this entry and the next one is distinct from the rest of the journal and is on an isolated page – not connected to any of the entries that are in my handwriting. The best evidence is in my journal entries that reference these same events as well as an entry from me that indicates that I would have been recovering from surgery at the time this entry was written. In that case “David’s headdress” would be my headdress, not David Newman’s.
