2 weeks ago I learned that when I thought I had made it in the top 2 in my school in the state math competition I really made it in the top 2!! Summer vacation started Friday June 1st. I am the 22nd best seventh grader in the state at Math.
Today I said the opening prayer in Sunday School. One week ago Aunt Marilyn had her baby; it is a boy – her second boy & 4th child.
Bryant (Burningham) and I are at the friends stage of our sometimes-friendship. Because of the tearing down of the Berlin Wall all the ninth grade English teachers are having their students read “The Hiding Place” by Corrie Ten-Boom. Even though I am not in ninth grade, only in seventh, I read the book. Now I am seeing the movie. I like the book better.
