We were on a regular missionary schedule today, except for Elder Lines being sick. We were also on fire with the Spirit. Last night Elder Hall distributed notes about Quiet Dignity to all the doors in our hall, and it was much better. I think he is planning to do similar notes every night all four weeks.
I love my companion. Today after doing a Book of Mormon share, everybody was on fire. That is what happens with Sister Ward teaching us. We moved on to learning how to fill out the proselyting records in area books. The spirit drained out of the room. During a break I mentioned this to Elder McDowell. He told Sister Ward when we went back so she explained what good those records do. The Spirit came back as strong as before. It stayed strong for the rest of the day. As Elder McDowell and I were doing Book of Mormon study tonight he has been pointing out scriptures illustrating the power that we have as Elders. Also, we talked to Elder Stokes, Our Assistant to the President, he told us how contention had broken out in his district. Elder McDowell and I will be watching to prevent that from ruining our awesome district.
Last night we started having companion prayer. Elder McDowell prayed and as he prayed I felt strongly of what a wonderful spirit he has.
