Today was really neat. I got another letter from home today but it didn’t say much. Elder McDowell and I taught Elder Wilson and Elder Petersen the first discussion. We felt the spirit strongly by the end. What a day. The district as a while is not really on fire, but they are not down in the doldrums either. Most of the feeling comes from being basically tired, which is natural when you work as hard as we do. Some of this shows up in the form of short fuses. Example: Sister Bradley didn’t feel the spirit when she was teaching the first discussion as I did when I was teaching. The reason was that she was upset by Sister Bridge.
Today I will write about Elder Nelson. Elder Nelson is very close to my size in most dimensions, except he is stronger. He loves the missionary work and has a great testimony. He is great tot talk to because of his attitude. I think he’ll make a great missionary when he gets out to St. Louis, Missouri.
