Today was pretty good for most of the day. I was feeling the spirit without getting burned out. At the last class I started to get down and Elder McDowell helped me feel better. Sister Ward did a demonstration with me and said that I really had the spirit. I felt great until the end of class and then I felt even worse. I didn’t start to feel better until two sisters same “Abide with Me” in Spanish; it helped but I am still a bit down.
Today’s person is Sister Ward. She was the first teacher we met and the most consistent. I like Brother Morton (next entry), I like Sister Huber (later entry), Brother Emmerson was cool today (probably no entry) and Sister Liddle was great (no entry), but Sister Ward was my favorite teacher. I enjoyed how sensitive she was, what she taught, and how she helped the class. I think that part of the reason that I was unhappy today was that she was leaving. She had a great impact on me. She said that she might see us two weeks from Monday {I hope so}. Even when she was leaving she noticed that I was feeling bad and tried to help. I love the effect she has had on me. She made me feel great and she thanked me for what I taught her. Her parting advice was that when the spirit is there you have fun. She told is to have tons of fun!
