And I thought that yesterday was awesome. Today we had a great District Meeting, ate at a great Italian fast food place (Fazoli’s if memory serves me 26+ years later), did great service and has a great talk with Bill Hayes. Then we went to work. We saw Sherry who we thought was a good prospect and she said she wanted to look around but would keep in contact and give us referrals. After that we visited Jim’s bike shop and contacted Lorain Lawless. She had had a recent death and had questions. She felt better after talking with us and we felt and identified the spirit a few times. Later we gave a blessing to Lyle Vogle and talked with the Bairds. At the time of the blessing I began to understand a few things. I finally felt comfortable for the first time about giving a blessing although I didn’t give it. I am beginning to comprehend the power of the priesthood.
