1 Nephi 10: 17 – 22
I have noted many places already where Nephi exhibits faith in the Lord and faith in his father’s words. Here Npehi expresses his desire to KNOW and his faith that he will be allowed to know. he states that it is the gift of God to all who diligently seek Him.

He bears his testimony that God is unchangeable and that “no unclean thing can dwell with God.” Do I have the faith to know that those who diligently seek God can know? Is it enough faith to actually “diligently seek Him?” Nephi states that he has authority to speak these things by the power of the Holy Ghost.

I must keep the Holy Ghost with me so that I have its power of authority with me as I teach in the role of a missionary. I need to find some way to constantly remind myself of what I’m doing, who I am, what I want, and how to get that. I need to make it a part of my very being.

I don’t know how to do that yet, but I am going to look for ways. That is my desire.
