This seems to be a perfect example of how a righteous people feel about a righteous ruler. They recognized that he did nor seek for his own gain, but continualy worked for their own welfare. He did not raise taxes Nd build ornate buildings to pit nAme on and leave a worldly legacy by burdening his people unnecessarily. They saw that what he sought and secured for his people, the legacy he left, was peace. He worked so that they all might be freed from any form of bondage and they consequently revered him for his great efforts and his desires that centered on their welfare.
