Alma 1:2
The first big case for Alma as chief judge was of a large man who had started preaching among the people with his own doctrine. He fought against the established church of God. His two primary doctrines were 1) that preists ought to be supported by those who followed them and that they should preach to gather people unto themselves and 2) that God would not be picky at the last day, but that he would redeem all people beacause he had created all people. All men shall have eternal life according to him. That should be a very popular doctrine among the proud and the sinful.
