Alma 2:31
After praying for help, Alma was strengthened by the Lord while he was contending with Amlici, insomuch that Alma slew Amlici by the strength of the Lord. In like manner, if we will pray with faith and fight with our might, the Lord can, and will, strengthen us insomuch that we can fully overcome sin and sins such that we remove them from our lives by the strength of the Lord. Afterward we can turn our attention to other trials as Alma and his guards did in then fighting the kind of the Lamanites with his guards whom they were able to drive back.
