After defeating the combined army of Amlicites and Lamanites, the Nephites did not have the luxury of going home to savor their triumph becasue another army of Lamanites arrived where the first army had met the Amlicites within days of the battle and there they came upon the Nephites again. This is a lesson that I have learned in life, just because you have just overcome a great challenge, does not guarantee that you will get to rest. Life does not just stop so you never get to stop. If the day comes that your victory is assured, you will still not stop, although your attitude and outlook may change. For the Nephites who had just won a great victory, they had to muster another army to drive out another invasion.
