Alma 5:12
According to his faith Alma had a mighty change wrought upon his heart by the power of the spirit. Because of his belief on the words of Abinadi and the subsequent change of his heart, Alma began to teach the word of God among the peoplespecifically the ancestors of those members of the church to whom Alma the Younger is now speaking. Because of their hearing the word of God, a great change was wrought in their hearts as had happned to Alma and they humbled themselves and put their trust in God.
