Jacob 3
I have often lamented the fact that Jacob only has so little to say to the pure in heart. Today I noticed the lesson in his sermon. It is a reminder that blessings are predicated on obedience to law and that if we obey the law we are better off, even if we are not of the chosen or favored people, than if we break the law. It is also a reminder to look beyond the outward appearance to the fruits that people bring forth.
