We seldom make as much of this pattern of the Lord leading the righteous out from among the wicked. He is continually sifting them as if in a sieve. It also occurs to me this time that another reason for Mosiah to take his people at the time that the Lord had him leave was that the people of Zerahemla were prepared to be brought into the covenant once again which they were after they had received the plates of brass. We see that they embraced the tradition and identification of the Nephites.
