Mosiah 2: 32-41
It is interesting that Benjamin, when warning the people against transgression does not warn of the temporal consequences, but of the eternal consequences of sin. When speaking of the blessings of following God, and their righteous king, he speaks very much of the temporal blessings that they receive although he does not neglect the eternal rewards either. I wonder how much preparation it would take for me to fully understand the words of king Benjamin as his people did? I am confident that my understanding is not full as theirs was.
