Mosiah 12: 20-37
The priests of Noah were trying to use the words of Isaiah to espouse the promotion of “All is well in Zion, yea Zion prospereth. All is well.” Of course they only did that because it did not sound like what Abinadi was preaching. They wanted to make it look like he was contradicting the scriptures. This trap trapped them because Abinadi asked them what they taught if they were asking him about scripture. He then proceeded to prove that they were not living according to that doctrine which they claimed both to teach and to understand.
