Alma 54 – 55
We tend to assume that everything recorded in scripture – that was done by a righteous man – was acceptable to the Lord. I am not sure this is always true. The words of Moroni to Ammoron sound like the words of a man who was righteously angry, but still angry. I am not sure that his words were inspired of the Lord although we can see that his actions were supported by the Lord because he was righteous and was trying to do the right thing. That is not necessarily the same as having his actions directed by the Lord.
