Alma 58
Helaman and his men did not feel up to the task of taking the last Lamanite city in their area of command. When they felt the assurances of the spirit that the Lord was behind them in their struggles they took courage and executed a daring plan in which they were able to take the city of Manti. When Helaman wrote to Moroni about their difficulties he stated that they would maintain their lands, even on so little support, without complaint, but they wanted to make Moroni aware of the situation in case there was some other problem that they did not know about. This turned out to be crucial information later.
