I know that my assumption when new cities are mentioned is that they came out from the more established areas of the Nephites. They may be true, but I realized that we don’t always know that. The people of Ammonihah sound as if they were never believers in the church. I believe they came from among the Nephites, but I imagine they were among the rising generation that did not understand the words of king Benjamin and who never began to believe as they grew older.
