Alma 13
It is interesting to think about what Alma did or didn’t know as far as gospel details go. He knew the basic plan of salvation and had a solid testimony of it, but he did not apparently know when Christ would come. to us it is simple to read the words of Nephi and know that Alma was within 80 years of Christ coming. Perhaps the records were sufficiently vague that he only knew that it would be very soon. On the other hand, he might have known more about Melchizedek than we do because he had a more pure set of records related to Melchizedek.
