I believe that the detailed prophecy of Alma, as recorded by Helaman, may not even have been known to every keeper of the sacred records. From the command of Alma I doubt that Helaman talked about the prophecy, even to those closest to him. I suspect that the only way any of the record keepers would know of the prophecy was if they read it in the record, and it is possible that some of them never read the entire record.
