In some ways this seems to answer my question form section 94 – the saints may have expressed some curiosity on why they should focus on Kirtland if Zion was in Missouri. The Lord tells them that they need to make Kirtland strong (even if they don’t know the full plan).
John Johnson is also added to the covenant of the United Order.
