D&C 101: 1 – 64
Though the saints in Zion were being chastened for their transgressions the Lord promises that they will be among His jewels after they have been refined through trials.
All who have come to be upon the watch-tower at the day when the wrath of the Lord is poured out upon all nations shall be saved.
When the Lord says that in the Millenium the dead shall not sleep in the earth, it leaves the possibility that they might die perhaps for hours or a few days before they are resurrected in their same but changed body. There is no indication that the “twinkling” will take place at the moment of death although that might be the case. I just note that the Savior was dead for 3 days and the two prophets slain in Jerusalem shall lie in the streets for three days. Those who die in the Millenium shall be no greater than those cases so we need not suppose that they must be resurrected faster.
In the parable of the servants who failed to build the tower the Lord tells what happened to the saints in Zion. The parable also includes a recitation of the call for Zion’s Camp and their later success.
