2 Nephi 29
For those who say “we have a Bible” it may be just as well that they only have one book of scripture to pretend to revere. Of course, that is not being fair. I’m sure that there are some who honestly revere the Bible, and try to follow it, who say that they need no more scripture because they have been led to believe that the heavens are closed. In other words, their reverence is not pretended – and yet it is foolish to say that the Lord may not reveal more on the grounds that He has revealed something already.
