The way the Lord of the vineyard grafted branches from the parent tree to the children and back reminds me of the necessity of having the parents and the children turn to each other. In crossing those generations they were each improved that the bad fruit was purged from the vineyard. not only does this apply across generations, but it applies that modern Israel – the children of the latter-day covenant will be purified as they look to the support and salvation of the people who descend from the ancient covenant people of Israel. In other words, saints today should be mindful of the Jews regardless of how receptive the Jews are to the message of the restoration.
