Alma 35
I remember that the people of Ammon left the land of Jershon to give place to the Nephite armies. I also remember that they gave lands for inheritance to those who were displaced from among the Zoramites. I had never connected before that those rejected Zoramites stayed in Jershon and took arms to defend themselves as the Zoramites and Lamanites prepared to come to battle. They were – in effect – returning the favor that they received from the people of Ammon by being the first line of defense in the coming war.
