I wonder how many times Helaman had heard the story of his father’s conversion. I wonder what new details, if any, Alma shared on this day. I get the impression that Alma spent two and a half of his days in pain and torment and only a small portion of time enveloped in the Love of his Savior. That taste drove him for the rest of his life to see the will of that Savior he loved so much.
