Helaman 3
Helaman was the chief judge for 10 years. During that time there seemed to be 3 year cycles between contention and peace. The contention was never so bad as to destroy society, but that may be why the peace was short-lived. I feel as if World War II was the six year war with Amalakiah and Ammoron. Since then we have been having the short cycles of peace and contention until now we are at the 51st year where pride of the people is the root of the persecution of those who are humble followers of Christ.
I just found my notes from 24 December 2007 claiming that we were then in the 80th year. I will have to consider the events between Helaman 3 and Helaman 11 to decide if they have also transpired.
