Walking by Faith
I finally have my topic for Elder’s quorum.
- D&C 11:21 – Seek not to declare my word, but first seek to obtain my word, and then shall your tongue be loosed; then, if you desire, you shall have my Spirit and my word, yea, the power of God unto the convincing of men.
- D&C 84:85 – Neither take ye thought beforehand what ye shall say; but treasure up in your minds continually the words of life, and it shall be given you in the very hour that portion that shall be meted unto every man.
- 1 Nephi 3:7 – I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them.
- 1 Nephi 4:6 – And I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do.
- 1 Nephi 16: 9-10 – And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord spake unto my father by night, and commanded him that on the morrow he should take his journey into the wilderness. And it came to pass that as my father arose in the morning, and went forth to the tent door, to his great astonishment he beheld upon the ground a round ball of curious workmanship;
- Ether 2 – The Lord showed them the way daily. Do we honestly believe that the brother of Jared failed to pray for four years after being led personally by the Lord daily?
