Ether 10
I don’t believe the people ever fully recovered from the wickedness in the days of Heth. Although they did have some kings who were righteous it was rarely more than one or two in a row and even for those there was much wickedness among the people. For example, Shez began to build up a broken people but his own son rebelled against him and that same son was killed by a robber – though Shez had repented of the wickedness of Heth and the people had repented enough to end the dearth, there was much wickedness remaining among his people.

I wonder what even history will point to as the tipping point in the overthrow of righteousness as the rule among our society – is it past, or have we yet to see that irreversable moment?
