1 Nephi 11
Joseph Smith talked of the pondering he did about his questions before his vision in the Sacred Grove. Nephi too pondered after he desired to know before the time came for him to receive the answers and personal knowledge that he sought. What an exciting promise for Nephi, that after he saw the tree of life that he desired to see he would see a man of whom he was to bear record and it would be the Son of God.
