Alma 6 – 7
Mormon says specifically that Alma declared the word unto the people of Gideon “according to the spirit of prophecy which was in him, according to the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
I think that I would have fit comfortably among the people of Gideon based on what Alma felt about their diligence as a people.
