Alma 38 – 39
I wonder if Alma’s actual words to Shiblon were very much the same as what he said to Helaman in Chapter 36 but in writing them down he compressed the record tot he basic ideas of the message. Or maybe his message was shorter because Shiblon’s personality was such that he did not need many words either to understand the message or to feel equally valued as his brothers. I wonder if Corianton recognized what a powerful and knowledgeable testimony that his father could bear about the misery of choosing the carnal and the sinful compared to the happiness of choosing repentance to feel the love of the Savior.
