Alma 40
Why was Corianton worried about the resurrection? Was it something that confused him or simply something that he focused on to the detriment of understanding more important doctrines such as faith and repentance? I think that the doctrine of resurrection was not well understood among the Nephites at this time – even Alma seems to be treading on unfamiliar ground as he speaks to Corianton. Perhaps it is not unlike the details of the doctrine of plural marriage that today get some people caught up in confusion because they are not well understood on a wide basis.
