I’m dragging today – physically not in peak form and emotionally worn out as well. I think that Monday is catching up with me on both fronts – I detailed the emotional weight of the day in that journal entry, but I failed to mention that on top of all that I built two new shelves that evening so the day was physically draining as well. Today is probably just a hangover from that. When I got home from work Laura told me that Kim Jacobson and the kids were coming to dinner because Jared was out of town – I was so drained that aside from dinner I was virtually absent the whole evening rather than trying to intrude on the conversation between Laura and Kim or even just sitting in the vicinity of other people – pathetic.
