It’s amazing how much better I felt today than yesterday. I woke up early but was fairly refreshed. My nose has still been running pretty consistently, but my head has not been hurting. I think my nostrils are healing from all the nose-wiping of yesterday, but I have been wiping enough that while they are not as sore they are really not healed (I’m sure you wanted all that description of my nasal condition). I worked about 7 hours at work – lots of Kronos maintenance issues – before Laura called and asked me to come home so she could get a nap (she only slept about 3 hours per night the last two nights). I finished my workday here at home and then talked to Don Eastman while our dinner arrived at the house from the Relief Society. Right after dinner I went to a blogger briefing at the Sutherland Institute where we discussed civility in politics. It was an interesting discussion and fun to see many blogging friends in person, such as Conner and Frank, as well as speak to Rob Miller who was there are a representative of the Democratic Party – opposite Dave Hansen representing the Republican Party. After the briefing was over a bunch of us stood around and talked about the technical aspects of building an audience and improving our blogs.
