I got up this morning, read scriptures, and went to the temple with the aim to solidify who I would have in my presidency. I settled on Wes Austin as first counselor and Jon Neiman as second counselor with Alex Monson as secretary (as I had expected). I feel really good about this presidency, I can’t wait to have them called. While I was at the temple I gained one more thing, I discovered that I can easily fit a temple session in each Friday if I will get up on time. I can do initiatory work if I have a longer Friday and I can fit an endowment session in if I have a shorter workday (around 5 hours). I’m very excited about that because I have been wanting to attend weekly.
Aside from that morning time the day was fairly routine. We tried going to the treehouse museum in the evening but ended up running errands instead because they were closed for a special event. We ended up at Bill and Lisa’s house and found mom there, just leaving. It was a fun evening overall.
