Before my alarm had even gone off this morning I was awakened by Isaac coming to the door crying. He stood at our door and called “Dad, are you still mad at me?” The last thing that happened to him before bed was that I carried him to his room and shut the door as he was up past bedtime, teasing, and coloring on Laura’s papers while I had been getting him a snack. He lost his snack and went to bed in trouble. I called back that I was not mad so he said “can I sleep in your bed?” When I said that he could then he stopped crying and came and snuggled up to me until I got up.
It was amazing how much work I was able to get done between multiple meetings that ran longer than expected. On top of that there was a lot of activity surrounding the things that posted today at Pursuit of Liberty and Politics Elevated.
