I just realized that this experience of seeing the Lord came not very long after being chastened by the Lord for failing to call upon His name for four years. I think that is further proof that the chastening was not for failing to pray, but for failing to seek further direction and progress. Between the chastisement and the revelation there was only the building of the boats and the preparing of the stones.
I wonder if the two stones that Christ gave the brother of Jared were the only two that he had touched by the time the brother of Jared saw His finger and fell to the earth. If so I would also love to know if any of the other fourteen stones were useful in the capacity of seer stones. Or perhaps the Lord actually gave two other stones to the brother of Jared as seer stones and the sixteen that the brother of Jared made were only glowing rocks. I believe that the two stones were independent of the sixteen stones.
