We picked Laura up at the hospital today. I worked from home for a little over an hour before we went to pick her up and then I worked from home in the afternoon so that I got most of a day. The kids really enjoyed going to the hospital to pick up Mom and Enoch and we even allowed Savannah to stay home from school until after we got back from the hospital. When I took her to school I really liked the system of checking her in electronically and taking a printout of her reason for arriving late to her teacher. Mrs Halverson was in the hallway as the class was just finishing their music lesson and she asked how everything was going. She actually wadded up the late check-in slip without reading it because she already knew why Savannah had been home for the morning. It’s good to have the whole family back home again.
