Our team party (or whatever its called) conveniently allowed me to get a full days work in while still getting home in time for the meeting with Ms. Halverson. We congratulated the kids on what a great weekend we had and amazingly (or rather, predictably) Alyssa and Mariah promptly did nothing the rest of the day. I sure wish we could compliment the kids without having to pay the price for it afterward.
