Mosiah 23 – 24
I wonder if Alma the younger ever wished that his father had accepted being made king so that he might have had a chance to become king (before his conversion obviously). I wonder if the elder Alma declined because he could already see the potential for his son to be a Noah. Alma and his people lived in the land of Helam for years before being brought into bondage. I wonder why the people of Amulon could not find the land of Nephi considering that they were known to steal from the people of Limhi – perhaps they had stopped the practice long enough to forget before they were discovered. I wonder how long they were in bondage before they were delivered – I’m sure not as long as Limhi and his people had been.
