Alma 38 – 40
Once again I am struck with the thought that this faithful son of Alma would one day be a keeper of the sacred records just as Helaman was.
The pride of Corianton was evident before he went after Isabel (who, incidentally, was not wihin the area of their missionary labors).
We tend to be very sensitive in the church to the seriousness of sexual transgression but that should not lead us to minimizing the seriousness of lesser transgressions. In fact we need to remember that whatever sin we are guilty of seriously deserves our attention unto repentance.
Alma is struggling to be sure that the spirit is with him as he speaks with Corianton.
