Satan is sometimes called “the Accuser”
There is no such thing in the gospel as a ‘point of no return.’
Sin is the willful transgression of divine law.
God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved.
It is not through our own efforts alone that we can overcome the consequences of sin.
“The essence of the miracle of forgiveness is that it brings peace to the previously troubled and guilty heart.”
God did not promise that we would have no memory of our sins. Only that after we have been forgiven we will not be tormented by those memories.
Extending forgiveness is a precondition to receiving forgiveness (this includes forgiving ourselves).
