3 Nephi 28 – 30
The desire of the nine was the worthy desire to come unto Christ. The desire of the three was that they could just continue to labor for Christ and bring all their brothers and sisters to salvation. The nine did not want to spend years where they could no longer serve and wished that their life would end with their effective ministry. The three wished their bodies would never wear out so that their ministry could continue and they could continue to serve the Lord on earth. They durst not speak their wish because they could see no way to have it fulfilled, plust it might appear that they feared death and hoped to avoid it. Christ knew that they were motivated by pure love for Him and their brethren which is why He gave them what they could not bring hemselves to ask for and more than they had even envisioned.
These three, along with John, will likely be well in advance of the church as an organization in preparing the lost tribes to be brought forth and restored to he one fold under our one Shepherd. In fact they may already be working on those preparations.
I would expect that these special servants have spent time in the city of Enoch.
