Moroni 1 – 6
It sounds like only the 12 desciples had the Melchizedek Priesthood among the Nephites. Others whom they ordained were only given the Aaronic Priesthood. When Christ came He said that one of the desciples would be givenpower to administer the sacrament but Moroni indicated that any elder or priest could do so.
