Exodus 5 – 7
I see no indication that Moses and Aaron demonstrated the staff turning to a snake before Pharaoh on their initial visit. I do see an interesting fact that most of Moses’ progenitors appear to have lived more than 130 years so that Moses being taken at the age of 120 could easily have lived longer.
It sounds like the people did not know the name of Jehovah before Moses taught it to them. Also, the first verse of chapter seven might be seen to indicate that the Lord had given Moses the sealing power that whatsoever he said to Pharaoh would be honored in heaven but verse two convinces me otherwise.
When Moses and Aaron returned to Pharaoh they showed him the signs of their staff and Moses serpent ate all the serpents produced by the magicians of Pharaoh.
