Leviticus 19
I wonder what it means or how we would apply the teaching in our day to not reap the corners of our fields nor glean them but leave those things for the poor and the stranger. Notice that even though we are to leave the corners and gleanings for the poor we are not to show favoritism to them. As a society we generally break both of these statutes.

Thou shalt not vex a stranger who sojourneth in thy land (see Lev. 19:33-34) suggests that we should be tolerant of illegal immigrants who are otherwise abiding by the law.
